Dan Mahoney

As a practice director, Dan Mahoney oversees a sector within Communications Strategy Group’s Financial Services practice. In this role, Dan is responsible for developing and executing effective communications plans that build brand equity, drive business leads and achieve clients’ specific objectives.

On behalf of his clients, which include some of the nation’s leading merger and acquisition, banking, real estate, technology, mortgage and financial services companies, Dan leverages his relationships with the media and industry analysts to secure significant press coverage in some of the most respected and influential media outlets. Dan consistently places stories in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The New York Times, USA Today, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Reuters, The Associated Press, CNN, CNBC, FOX Business News and The TODAY Show.

In addition to his robust rolodex of influencers, Dan is well known for his ability to offer senior executives strategic insights that advance overall business goals and create powerful messages that resonate with targeted demographics.

Dan also handles strategic communications for various politicians and campaigns. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Adams County Economic Development group and previously served on the Southeast Denver Rotary Club board and on the communications committee for the Democratic National Convention in 2008.

Dan graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in political science and an emphasis in international relations; he joined CSG|PR in July 2007.
