Richard EidlinRichard Eidlin is a senior advisor to the environmental sustainability CSG|PR team. Richard has worked in the clean energy industry and sustainability field for over twenty-five years in business development, strategic planning and public affairs. His experience in the private, public and non-profit sectors provides a keen appreciation of the culture of each and how to develop effective coalitions. Richard served as the National Business Outreach Director for the Apollo Alliance, where he recruited hundreds of companies to support federal and state ‘clean energy-good jobs’ policy initiatives; including the ‘Make It In America’ campaign. Since the early-90’s, Richard has promoted legislation that has spawned new markets for clean energy technologies. Since 2004, Richard has been a board member of CORE; Colorado’s leading business sustainability trade association and directed the Annual Sustainable Opportunities Summit. Richard served as an adjunct faculty member and consultant with Boston College’s Center for Corporate Citizenship. He served on the Board of New Hampshire Business for Social Responsibility and helped found the Community Capital Bank in Brooklyn. Richard worked as a policy analyst for NYC and consulted to the UN Environment Programme in the late 1980’s and 1990’s where he directed a series of conferences that brought together corporations, investors, NGOs, U.N. agencies and governments to develop sustainable development programs. As a political consultant, he co-directed the Colorado 2008 Clean Tech for Obama campaign and advised candidate Bill Ritter on the ‘New Energy Economy’ strategy. Richard earned a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Wisconsin and Bachelors in Government from the University of Maryland. |
